Fifty golfers took part in the second edition of the golf tournament organised at L’Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club in favour of the children of Victoria Hospital Cancer Ward, on Saturday 6th October. The team of Hugo de Senneville, Gaston François Desmarais, Philippe Tanguy Desmarais and Ashvin Ramasawmy won the game. Françoise Espitalier-Noël and François Desmarais won the longest drive on the ladies side and the men’s side respectively.
A total amount of Rs 116 900 has been attained during the edition of the SUNCARE Charity Golf Competition. This sum will be given to the Sun Children Cancer Fund to finance the renovation works at Victoria Hospital Cancer Ward.
