The Sun Resorts’ golf located on the Eastern coast of Mauritius, Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club, celebrated its 15th anniversary on Saturday 27th October, alongside the fifth E-Golf Buzz Challenge. This competition that was open to the public, saw the victory of Das Thomas and Nicolas de Chalain in gross on the men’s side, and Kamla Beeharry on the ladies’ side. Several interesting prizes were awarded during the event, such as a return ticket to Europe by Air Mauritius, a one-year membership at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club as well as several stays in Sun Resorts hotels, among others.
After the tournament that ended at around 6 pm, a barbecue-buffet was served at La Flibuste, the exclusive beach of the island. The evening ended with stunning fireworks and a show performed Zulu. Sun Resorts, Air Mauritius, Anahita, Emcar, Titleist, Saint Aubin Group, Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Four Seasons, Eclosia, Nespresso, Toro Loco, Suarez Sea Food, Gold Of Mauritius, Heineken, Spiliq and Choya, were among the sponsors of the event.
The Ile aux Cerfs golf course was designed by Bernhard Langer. With a surface of 38 hectares, the 18-hole golf course is surrounded by nature, with most of the holes having a view on the unique lagoon of Ile aux Cerfs.
