The six hotels from Constance Hotels & Resorts in Mauritius and in the region have been granted the Green Globe certification for the fifth year in a row. As such, they also obtained the Gold status, being the first group in the hospitality sector in Mauritius. Trophies and certificates have been remitted to the representatives and employees of the Sustainability Committee of the two resorts in Mauritius. The ceremony took place at the Deer Hunter Restaurant of Constance Belle Mare Plage this Friday 16 November in the presence of Andrew Milton, COO of Constance Hotels & Resorts, Gert Puchtler, General Manager of Constance Belle Mare Plage, Christophe Plantier, General Manager of Constance Prince Maurice, as well as Purveen Dulloo, Green Globe Auditor.
The six hotels from the group in Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Madagascar and Zanzibar have implemented several initiatives aiming at protecting their respective ecosystem, preserve the biodiversity and sensitize guests about the importance to protect the environment. Andrew Milton wanted to thank the teams of the hotels of the group without whom this certification would not have been obtained.
