The Barman from LUX* Le Morne, Stephan Arekium will be flying to Paris in December to take part in the final of the Monin Cup Internationale 2018, after he won the Moni Cup Mauritius 2018 on the 31st August at the R Beach Club. He will be competing against the finalists of 57 countries. The 25-year barman won the national competition with his special cocktail prepared with exotic flavours, such as tamarind compote, mango syrup, ginger, lemon, and Chamarel rum, and name the “Queen of Mauritius”. Originality was the main element of the competition that beared the theme “Mix your origins”. His co-worker, Yoggesh Seegobin, Assistant Bar Manager, also took part in the competition in the veteran category with the Mystery Box.
