From the 29th August to the 2nd September, a delegation from Rodrigues will be organising a roadshow to promote tourism in Mauritius. The roadshow, organised by the Regional Assembly and the Tourism Board of Rodrigues will comprise of two parts: the first one will comprise of two workshops on tourism in Rodrigues for IATA and non-IATA agents scheduled for the 29th and the 30th August at Labourdonnais hotel in Port Louis, and the other one will be a series of exhibitions and events in various parts of the island. The workshops will be launched by the Chief Commissioner and Commissioner of Tourism in Rodrigues, Serge Clair. The roadshows including the exhibition and the sale of agricultural and craft products, the distribution of materials for the promotion of tourism, and cultural shows, will take place as follows: municipality of Quatre-Bornes (Wednesday 29th August and Sunday 2nd September), Plaisance Mall (Thursday 30th August), Super U, Flacq (Friday 31st August), and Mahebourg Waterfront (Saturday 1st September).
