Mauritius will host the candidates of the Miss France 2019 contest from the 20th to the 27th November. An agreement has been signed this Tuesday 25th September, on the Mauritius stand at the IFTM Top Resa meeting in Paris, between the Director of the contest Sylvie Tellier, and the Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) Arvind Bundhun. This event will benefit of a huge media coverage with the presence of some ten French journalists including TF1.
Sylvie Tellier explained that the appeal of the Mauritian destination is not limited to its beaches and the sun. “I came to Mauritius seven years ago and fell under the spell. There is kindness and a sense of welcoming that are specific to the country and that we find nowhere else. Our ladies will be most willingly become ambassadors for Mauritius.”
For his part, Arvind Bundhun expressed his pride about this partnership between two entities that represent quality and excellence. He assured that the candidates will have an itinerary giving them the occasion to discover the cultural richness, the interior tourism and the activities that make of Mauritius a unique destination.
