From January to October 2018, Mauritius welcome 1 109 118 tourists against 1 064 749 for the same period last year, representing a raise of 4.2%. In October, there has been 134 052 visitors against 130 070 during the same month in 2017 (+3.1%), with the top 5 markets: France (30,935), Reunion Island) 17 512, United Kingdom (16 571), Germany (12 941) and South Africa (8 835). The Asian market has for its part recorded a significant drop of 12.8% during the month of October.
