Alongside the process of consolidating its development plan on the international level, LUX* group has recruited Karen Lai Yong as Senior Vice-President – Global Business Development of The Lux Collective. Since the beginning of October, Mrs. Lai Yong is based at The Lux Collective Head Office in Singapore and will bring “her expertise in terms of business development and a thorough knowledge of the business world of the Asia-Pacific region”, according to the CEO of The Lux Collective, Paul Jones.

With a background of Chartered Accountant, Karen Lai Yong is holder of a Master in Business Administration from the Manchester Business School. During her professional career of more than 25 years, she has worked for hotel groups such as InterContinental Hotel Group and Raffles International Limited, where she worked as Regional Director, Development Asia and Vice-President, Business Development, Asia-Pacific, respectively. Karen Lai Yong is joining the Lux Collective after a short time at Club Med in Singapore where she was the Vice-President of the Development –ESAP (East and South Asia and Pacific).
