975 066 tourists have been visiting the island from January to September this year, against 934 679 for the same period in 2017, being an increase of 4.3%. Europe represents more than half of these arrivals - 550 442 visitors, with France, Germany and United kingdom as the leading markets. In the region, Reunion is our main market with 100 095 arrivals for the first nine months of this year. South Africa also continues its growth with 87 484 tourists during these nine months (+14.4%). For the month of September only, Mauritius has recorded 102 849 tourists, against 96 282 in September 2017, representing an increase of 6.8%.
