The second edition of the golf tournament organised by Sun Resorts in favour of the children of the Cancer Ward at Victoria Hospital will be back on Saturday 6th October, at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club. The 18-hole round will be played in Scramble format, by teams of 4, with a shot gun at 9 am. The winners will get stays and dinners in Sun Resorts hotels in Mauritius and Maldives, and a lucky draw will designate a winner for a stay for two in Kanuhura Maldives.
All the benefits of the registration fees will be given to the Sun Children Cancer Fund. Since 2008, Sun Resorts supports the children of the Cancer Ward through this fund, and takes in charge all the maintenance costs of the ward in which 112 children are taken care of. This year, the ward has undergone major maintenance and renovation works after the bad weather conditions since the beginning of the year.
The golfers will have a “touch of pink on the green” on the 6th October.
