The third edition of the Beachcomber World Club 10s will be taking place on the 16th, 17th and 18th June 2018 in Mauritius. The much awaited for event for rugby lovers will see the participation of 10 international teams, of which eight have already confirmed their participation: the title holder Vodacom Bulls (South Africa), Newcastle Falcons (England), French Pyrénées (France), Africa Pacific Dragons (Asia/Africa/Pacific Islands), Montpellier Herault (France) and Cell C Sharks (Kwazulu-Natal). The announcement was made at the head office of Beachcomber Group, official partner of the event. According to Jon Phelps, Founding Partner – Carinat Sports Marketing, organiser of the tournament, the dates have been announced early to give the opportunity to rugby fans to travel to Mauritius to watch the competition next year. “We are proud to have the opportunity to see professional rugby men play in Mauritius. It is also a very good occasion for rugby fans to see professionals in action. Mauritian players will also be able to play with the elite during this international competition”, said the president of the Rugby Union Mauritius (RUM) Kevin Venkiah, at the press conference.
