The third edition of the VLH Excellence Awards took place on Thursday 24th August at the Chateau de Labourdonnais. Veranda Pointe aux Biches won the much coveted Chairman’s Award as well as three other prizes during the evening. Among the twelve awards distributed, Heritage Awali and Veranda Paul et Virginie won two prizes each. The VLH Awards rewards the efforts and the performance of the hotel operations of VLH (Veranda Leisure and Hospitality) group that currently employs 1700 persons.
“Here at VLH, we try to maintain the passion of our collaborators, to give a sense and dignity to their work, help them to challenge themselves with the heart and the smile”, said François Eynaud, CEO of VLH, during his speech. The latter also congratulated the teams of VLH for the work achieved during the year and that contributed to the good performance of the group. The ceremony took place in presence of the minister of Tourism, Anil Gayan, the President of the MTPA, Raj Bujohory, and the Director of the MTPA, Kevin Ramkaloan, among other guests present.
