On the 17th August, Chris and Suzaan Alheit, from Alheit Vineyards in South-Africa, led a training session dedicated to the sommeliers of Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice, at the Blue Penny Cellar. The winemakers shared their experience and knowledge with the sommeliers who attended the workshop. Two special dinners were also organised in honour of the winemakers who are passionate about white wines, and who shared some precious tips with the guests and the staff present. The Chenin Blanc, Semillon and Cinsault are among the wines presented by the Alheit couple during the evenings.

This time, the sommeliers of the group have had the opportunity to improve their knowledge in South-African wines with the Alheit couple. We also wanted to offer to our guests a unique gastronomic and wine experience centred on the distinctive characteristics of South--African wine pairing”, said Jérôme Faure, Corporate Sommelier at Constance Hotels & Resorts.
