Chef Paramasudhan from Trou aux Biches Beachcomber has been acclaimed by his peers during a cocktail party held in his honour after he achieved to take the third place at the Meilleur Ouvrier de Maurice (MOM) contest. The Chefs Veeren Pillay and Rishiraj Hurnam, both from Beachcomber, the General Manager of the resort Michel Daruty de Grandpré, and the Executive Assistant Manager Fatima Chuttoo, were among the guests present. To express its pride and recognition towards the Chef’s talent, four return tickets to Rodrigues, a shield and a certificate have been remitted to him. A student from the Hotel School of Mauritius, Olivier Laurent, has also been praised for his work as commis chef to Chef Murday during the contest.
