The Deputy General Manager, Commercial Affairs at Air Austral, Jean-Marc Grazzini, has announced, on Tuesday 18th September, the launch of a new flight connection between Fort Dauphin and Tuléar in Madagascar and Reunion Island. This new route will be operated by Air Austral and Air Madagascar in code sharing. This new step forms part of the partnership agreement signed by the two airlines on the 30th November 2017. The new flight will be launched on the 3rd December and will be operated by two Boeings 737-8 (18 Confort, 144 Economy) from both airlines. Two weekly flights are scheduled as from the 3rd December.
“We have an increasing demand on Tuléar and Fort Dauphin and the feed-back from tour-operators and partners are going in the same direction. We are targeting leisure, business and those who want to visit relatives. We are confident in the success of this new connection as the two destinations proposed are in great demand and feature a wide number of assets. As such, the South of Madagascar will now on be in the limelight”, said Jean-Marc Grazzini.
