Summer is the time to spend time with friends and family by the sea with an aperitif or same games. To mark this cheerful season, Le Méridien Ile Maurice has launched a concept, “Au Soleil”, combining traditional pastime from Paris with a Mauritian touch that will be featured in its “Summer Soirées”.
“With a touch of fantasy and a hint of nostalgia from the 1960’s French Riviera glamour, this programme aims at inspiring travellers to explore the world in style, in the same way we inspire them when they visit destinations like Mauritius,” said Mathieu de Tonnac, General Manager of Le Méridien Ile Maurice, during the launch of the event that gathered partners and team members, on Friday 16th November.
The “Temple”– the giant kiosk of the hotel, has been set up for the occasion on the beach, facing the stunning sunset of the West coast. You can sip a sparkling cocktail while playing Bocce Balls, Backgammon or Tic-Tac-Toe, and enjoy the tasty French snacks with the local flavours.
