The fourth edition of the culinary contest Holiday Chef took place on Saturday 20th October at Ambre Resort. Five hotel guest couples took part in the competition and had to prepare a Chicken curry in 30 minutes. The dish was then presented to the members of the jury presided by the Executive Chef of Ambre Vijranand Kallooa. The French couple Stephane Royer and Fanny Hennrich won the contest based on the presentation, the taste and the creativity among other criteria.
This yearly event aims at bringing hotel guests to discover Mauritian cuisine. Each year the theme changes from a dish to prepare to cake decorating with the help of a chef.
