Manish Boodhoo, one of the sommelier team at Constance Hotels and Resorts, has recently obtained his “Sommelier-Conseil Caviste” diploma from the Université de Vin in France. A ceremony was organised at Constance Belle Mare Plage on the 8th November to honour his achievement. “We make it a point of honour to constantly give the best tools to our collaborators, so that they can give a good service to our guests, on one part, and also develop their talents on the other. With the expertise of our teams, our guests live a unique experience in an exceptional setting”, said Jérôme Faure, Corporate Sommelier of the group.
Manish Boodhoo, aged 23 years old, has always been in touch with the hospitality world, with several members of his family working for Constance. Besides, it is his father, Outlet Manager of the beach service at Constance Belle Mare Plage, who gave him the kick by contacting Jérôme Faure for a job in his department. That initiative triggered his passion for this job. The new wine expert will continue his efforts with the goal to become one day a Chef Sommelier.
