The team of Row the Indian Ocean Challenge 2018 are expected to reach Mauritius on Friday 14th September after having rowed 3 600 miles across the Indian Ocean, from Exmouth, Western Australia. This challenge was launched to raise awareness on Parkin son disease, raise funds for Parkinson charities, and support the researches carried out at Oxford Brookes University. The team is composed of four friends: Billy Taylor, Barry Hayes, James Plumley, and Robin Buttery, who has been diagnosed a Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease two years ago.
The Row in the Indian Ocean Challenge will be supported by Heritage Resorts in Mauritius. The four friends will be accommodated at Heritage the Villas to recover from this trying journey and enjoy the Seven Colours Spa.
